In a home automation installation, the electronics is typically installed in a central AV rack with cables routed to different parts of the installation. ICEpower technology is used in many rack amplifiers in home automation installations for driving everything from the in-ceiling speakers in a kitchen or bathroom to the cinema grade in-wall speakers of the home cinema room to the outdoor speakers at the patio or by the pool. ICEpower solutions enable reliable products with superior sound quality and low heat dissipation in ultra compact enclosures – saving rack space without compromising on quality.

4/8 Ω Rack amplifiers

Reducing rack space is valuable both in commercial and residential installations. The compactness and efficiency of ICEpower’s technology enables packing significantly more power in a much smaller space with less heat dissipation. As a benefit, the sound quality of ICEpower solutions fulfill even the most demanding Dolby Atmos certified home theater applications.

For rack amplifiers, we can offer solutions in the form of reference designs, complete audio power modules and for customers who do not have the time or ressources, we can also develop and manufacture complete rack amplifiers on a turnkey or joint development basis. With our existing solutions, we can create rack amplifiers from 2 to 16 channels, from 50W to 1200W per channel, typically in a 1U rack height.

70V/100V Rack amplifiers

Reducing rack space is valuable both in commercial and residential installations. Traditional 70V/100V constant voltage line amplifiers are based on linear power supplies and amplifiers using linear output step-up transformers. This topology requires several heavy and expensive transformers in the design. ICEpower technologies enable designs of direct-drive 70V/100V class D amplifiers with enough output voltage swing to drive constant voltage line applications directly, eliminating the step-up transformers.

For 70V/100V rack amplifiers, we can offer solutions in the form of reference designs or custom audio power modules. For customers who do not have the time or ressources, we can also develop and manufacture complete rack amplifiers on a turnkey or joint development basis.
