What Can You Expect?

We asked our CTO, Patrik Boström, to share his thoughts:

I remember when I first saw the ASX-modules in 2004. The compactness, efficiency and output power was astonishing and became the benchmark for other class d companies. But a lot has happened since then. We have continued to develop our amplifier technologies and the semiconductor companies have continued improving their processes.

Therefore, the time had come to update them to the latest ICEpower standard. Our latest amplifier loop design called The Conductor in combination with our proprietary ICC5 gate driver now allowed us to achieve audiophile sound quality while still maintaining the small physical foot print. And they are pin compatible with the original ASX-modules so the customers won´t have to change one thing in their designs.

I am convinced that the ASX-series will continue to be the most successful class d modules for several decades to come.
