ICEpower is experiencing rapid growth, and to support our expansion, we are seeking an accomplished Project Sourcing Manager. In this role, you will be vital in controlling product cost and purchasing within our development projects.

Responsibilities as the Project Sourcing Manager will include:

1. Maintaining a comprehensive overview of product cost throughout all project phases and consistently challenging stakeholders to achieve the best possible product cost.
2. Purchasing and effectively managing materials during the ramp-up phase of new products, ensuring a seamless handover to mass production.
3. Collaborating with our manufacturing partner (EMS) in Thailand for most of the purchasing activities, supplemented by direct procurement from component manufacturers, distributors, and occasional brokers.
4. Daily tasks involve overseeing and managing materials at the EMS, monitoring purchase orders, stock levels, and component logistics.

To excel in this position, you will need the following qualifications:

1. A strong business acumen, coupled with a structured approach and a willingness to provide support.
2. Experience and knowledge in electronics purchasing, project management, and other supply chain-related areas would be advantageous.
3. Close collaboration with project managers, project teams, and colleagues in the Operations department.

As the Project Sourcing Manager, the role will be responsible for:

1. Handling material and production cost estimates and calculations in product development projects.
2. Coordinating cost quotations for parts and assemblies.
3. Ensuring the availability of materials during production ramp-up.
4. Participating in project meetings and serving as the coordinating interface between Purchasing and the projects.
5. Challenging strategic Procurement and R&D teams to identify cost reduction opportunities within projects.
6. Encouraging R&D to optimize designs for cost efficiency.
7. Implementing and enforcing sourcing strategies in the projects.
8. Supporting Strategic Procurement in Quarterly Business Reviews with our suppliers.
9. Ensuring accurate master data in the ERP system before projects are released for mass production.

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

1. A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
2. Preferably a relevant education in purchasing, supply chain, or engineering.
3. Demonstrated sourcing experience with a focus on materials, cost control, and product management.
4. Proficiency in various Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
